"To say I am living my dream is an understatement!  For over 10 years my passion has been to help the community with all of their finess goals as a personal trainer and as a CrossFit coach and owner today.  As an owner I have the pleasure of helping build and guide the best community I have ever been a part of!  I enjoy spending time with my wife, Desiree and our four children. I love competing in CrossFit competitions, jet skiing and spending time with my Platoon family.  Creating an atmosphere that is safe, focused on community and one that emits fitness progression for all is my daily goal."

“My journey to better health and a fitter me began when I finally tried CrossFit nearly five years ago.  I had lost myself to poor life habits and a slowing metabolism.  Nothing seemed to help get me in shape, nor was I really motivated to do anything about it.  But, at the urging of a friend, I begrudgingly decided to give CrossFit a chance.  I was not hooked immediately, but the positive energy I felt from the invigorating workouts, the sense of accomplishment from WOD completions and the supportive community created a perpetual motion of habits and successes that transformed my body, mind and spirit.

CrossFit changed my life as I rediscovered my energy and love for life with a fitness level I had never had before, of course it helped that I eventually lost 8 inches in my waist and 40lbs!  Finally, in the summer of 2017, I decided to retire from teaching and get my level 1 CrossFit certification and embark on a new  journey with fitness as the focal point.  As a longtime coach of both female and male youth athletes, working with adults has come easy.  Everyday in the gym as a trainer is rewarding and is an opportunity to pay it forward, helping others on their journey towards a fitter and better life.”

Once I joined the Air Force in 2008 and met my husband I got into a more traditional bodybuilding style of lifting. I was introduced to CrossFit when I moved back to Michigan in 2016 and was instantly hooked. I joined the Platoon community in 2020 and have gained so much more than I could have imagined - I'm stronger mentally and physically thanks to the support of the community we have here.
